I find both Yonghwa of CNBlue and Seohyun of SNSD so adorable. They are the latest pairing from MBC’s We Got Married, a variety show in Korea.

People dubbed them as “sweet potato couple” because of Seohyun’s love for the vegetable/fruit. Before they had their first meeting, Seohyun asked Tiffany and Taeyon on how to go about it. They gave her some advice on how to handle things. Then the two suggested to her that if she likes him, she needs to say Sweet Potato if she don’t she can say Hamburger. It was some sort of a code between the SNSD girls.

Yonghwa on the other hand, played a prank on Seohyun on their first meeting. He made his bandmate from CNBlue to pose as the hubby of Seohyun as they wait in the lobby of MBC. Then when she arrived he asked her to choose from the four of them who she likes to be the hubby. Maybe it was preference or fate that she chose Yonghwa.

This time Barbie [...]]]> The stars of Meteor Garden comes in full force this year. First, there was Vanness Wu in Autumn’s Concerto, then Jerry Yan in Down With Love, now its Barbie Xu who will be coming out with a new drama series called Summer’s Desire. (Check the sneak preview at the end of the post)

This time Barbie will be with Peter Ho who, by the way is producing this drama series and Dylan Guo. Storyline is a typical one, meaning it deals with memory loss, betrayal, illness, forced marriage and sacrifice.

Basically, the girl had a crush on the rich boy. However, her father adopted another cute boy, falls in love with him. The rich boy got jealous with the adopted brother, sent him off to another country. The day the adopted brother leaves, her parents met an accident that killed them off. She was so mad at the rich boy when she found that he was the one responsible for making her adopted brother leave the country. The rich boy lost his memory.

When the adopted brother came back, he was a successful singer and she was a newly signed singer of a recording company. They met again and falls in love again. The rich boy could not help but be fascinated with the girl especially when she sees her on TV. Memory came back and was mad at her. He felt betrayed. He then bought the recording company who holds her contract with the intention of destroying her but ended up making her shine even more, He still loves her.

Meanwhile, the adopted brother needs a kidney transplant and lo and behold, the matching kidney belonged to the rich boy. Naturally, she asked for his help and naturally the rich boy took advantage of the situation. In exchange for the kidney, she has to marry him. She said yes, the adopted brother learned about it and vehemently refused to accept the kidney. On the day of the wedding, he tried killing himself.

Quite a long synopsis from which we still do not know if they will realy follow this storyline up to the end.
