As expected Jang Hyuk’s performance was awesome. Episode 2 of Slave Hunters also known as Chuno is as compelling as the first episode. I like the development of the characters. I am no longer complaining of downloading huge files since this drama series makes the whole thing worth my time and effort. Check the video links on the bottom of the post.
Episode 2 gives us a deeper insight on the love story of Dae Gil and Un Nyun. It also showed us that Dae Gil is as in love with her as he was the first time he saw her. The moment he learned of UN’s whereabouts, he immediately rode a horse to get there only to find out that it was a trap set up by the other gang led by Chun Ji Ho. DG then fought with the gang. His friends came along to help when General Choi realized that it was just a trap but as DG is a very skilled fighter and even more potent when he is riled up. He easily took them down and when he was about to end CJH’s life, his friends came to stop him just in time.
DG was so angry that he could not care less but Gen Choi would not have it. They fought and of course DG won but his friend told him that it is about time for him to give up and let go of UN.
Un Nyun on the other hand was in a room waiting for her groom when her brother asked her if she has forfotten the past and told her to be happy of what she has now. She was remembering the time when DG was talking about marriage with his father. His father was arranging for him to marry and DG said that it’s okay since he has no one in his heart. Thereis no way DG could have told his father the truth. UN was just outside and heard everything. She already know that they cannot be together but still it hurts to hear it. After a while, he went to her and slipped in new shoes on her feet. Then they kissed.
Back to the present. UN asked her brother if he killed someone for them to have a new life and he said yes. I just realized now that UN thought that DG is dead already. It was very unfortunate that her brother has to resort to killing DG’s family for them to have a better life.
Anyway, she left after promising her brother that she will be happy. Naturally her husband is infuriated and told everyone to bring her back at once. Another man vowed to get her back before any harm can come to her. I guess he is another Un fanboy.
Tae Ha on the other hand, received a letter from the Prince who by the way died after writing it. Something about the letter and the Prince triggered something in TH. He decided to become a warrior again.
There are some conspiracy in the court involving paintings and the Prince death but I was not able to fully understand it.
Some of the slaves in the training center where TH works decided to escape. Unfortunately, they were caught. TH just arrived in time to saved them from the guards. The other slaves particularly the one who love to beat him up was so surprised to see how skilled he was.
TH is now on the run and guess what, DG was hired to get him back. They were able to meet face to face and an awesome fight scene will happen on the next episode as we see a slow motion scene of them attacking each other.
Knowing both their stories who do you want to win this round? As much as I love Jang Hyuk I mean Dae Gil, there is no way I want to see Oh Ji Ho, I mean Tae Ha hurting. Two hot guys fighting, girls must be drooling! Wipe up girls!
