Black and White is a detective/action/drama series with Vic Zhou and Mark Chao playing the extremely different police detectives.
I have been looking out for a new Taiwanese drama to watch and this could be it. The trailer is promising. Vic’s acting is definitely a lot better than before and his colleagues particularly the director saw how he matured as an actor.

The plot is already somewhat a cliche on a police drama genre since I saw a lot of movies with basically the same storyline. Two detectives who has different personalities are forced to work together. Vic plays a laidback kind of a detective who waits for his sources to give him information while Mark plays a hardworking police detective that usually earns the ire of his superiors for being so diligent and thorough in his work.
The twist is that the President is believed to be somehow friendly with the mafia and there are some people ended up dead while just doing everyday mundane things.
It started airing back in April 11.
