If rumors are to be believed, another best-selling Japanese Manga will soon be adapted for a TV drama series. It is Karuho Shiina’s Kimi ni Todoke, 2008 Best Shojo Manga.
This manga has already 8 volumes and it is currently being published in Shueisha Bessatsu Margaret magazine. It also has an interesting light romantic story that has a universal appeal and it goes something like this:

There is a girl named Sawako Kuronoma but is teasingly called Sadako. You probably guessed why. She is supposedly looked a bit similar to a popular horror movie figure from the box office hit movie, The Ring. Naturally, people were scared of her and some people believed that due to her not so pleasing physical attributes she also has a sixth sense, seeing ghosts and all. She’s a very misunderstood girl who just wants to live a normal life.
Her whole world started to change when a popular boy in school, Shouta Kazekaya spoke and befriended her. A friendship blossomed but not without obstacles along the way. They might end up falling in love too.
Everyone who read this manga are speculating already on who will be cast for the roles even if there is still no official confirmation yet if it the drama project will push through.
However, if the rumors are to be believed again, production starts in April.

Yes! This seems to be a very good manga! I do hope that it’ll be a hit. ^O^ If they do make a drama for this, I don’t want a Johny’s boy starring as the main guy. And the main girl should be a person he hasn’t been discovered yet! It’ll be very interesting!
