Jandi gets to dance with Ji Hoo! The scene seems so romantic in a funny kind of way with Jandi in a dreamlike state, relishing this moment where she is in the arms of Ji Hoo, and Ji Hoo…well, Jandi is practically dancing on top of his feet so you can probably imagine what’s going on in his mind at this moment.

Do you think he minds being stepped on his feet as much as he minds having Jandi in his arms? As Joon Pyo watches them on the side, you can see that he is not too happy with what’s happening. How do you think he feels seeing his best friend dance with Jandi whom he is starting to fall for (even if he doesn’t know it yet)? Sigh! Joon Pyo probably doesn’t know how to react or doesn’t understand how he feels at this moment so he leaves the room and went to the poolside, taking his frustration out there.
When it’s Seo Hyun’s turn to dance with Ji Hoo, you can feel Jandi’s pain as she watches the couple dance. they looked so good together that it hurts to look at them.
She can’t bear to watch anymore so she went outside just as Joon Pyo fell into the pool (he freaked out when he saw a bug–haha!) Surprise! Surprise! Our great Joon Pyo has one weakness–he doesn’t know how to swim. Jandi, of course, saved Joon Pyo. When Joon Pyo’s friends arrived at the scene with the rest of the crowd, they saw Jandi already performing CPR. Typical of Joon Pyo, he tried to take advantage of the situation and gets to kiss Jandi. Jandi’s first!

Hahaha! Remember in an earlier episode when Joon Pyo sort of took it upon himself to be the one who will give Jandi her first kiss? Well, he certainly did with a smack on Jandi’s lips! So typical yet kinda sweet, don’t you think?
He is in a great mood after that that he surprised his butler the next day with his change of attitude towards their household help. Nothing seems to annoy or irritate him anymore. He seems to think that his “relationship” with Jandi has improved a little with the kiss. Hahaha!

He is in his usual charming self when he arrived at the school early to prepare for more of his practical jokes on Jandi. I kind of like the part where he filled the pool with ducks! It’s a definite improvement from filling the pool with trash. It is certainly hilarious! He is definitely amused at Jandi’s reaction as he watches from a tv monitor. Of course,Jandi doesn’t find it funny. Yi Jung and Woo Bin wonder at how Joon Pyo seems to enjoy working so hard just to get a reaction from Jandi.
The next day, Joon Pyo decided it was time that he be the one waiting in the pool for Jandi. Little did he know as he await Jandi’s arrival that he will be the one who will get a surprise that time from those three silly stupid vain girls in their school. They showed him a video clip from a cellphone, of Jandi and Ji Hoo–Ji Hoo is in his usual place playing violin as Jandi watches.
It was kind of a bittersweet moment as you can feel Ji Hoo’s sadness through his music. It pains Jandi to see him hurting and she feels helpless that she cannot comfort him. Ji Hoo accidentally cuts his finger when his violin string breaks. He was hesitant to let Jandi attend to his cut but allowed her just the same. Jandi wrapped the wounded finger with the same handkerchief that Ji Hoo had given her before and she even left her umbrella to protect the violin from the snow. Aah, bittersweet indeed!

As Joon Pyo watches the scene unfolds from the recorded video, you can see that he feels hurt by this. Discovering that Jandi has affections for Ji Hoo affected him. But what can he do? If it was any other guy than Ji Hoo, he would probably know what to do; but it is Ji Hoo, his longtime best friend.
This was a sad moment but you will find a certain satisfaction when Joon Pyo threw the “silly girl’s” phone on the ground, breaking it. Weren’t you glad he did? Joon Pyo then looked for Jandi and confronted her. He was upset and mad because he really believed that Jandi is “in love” with him before and he kind of felt betrayed and/or stupid when he realized that it is Ji Hoo whom Jandi is in love with. He tried to kiss her and when she struggled clearly showing that it is unwelcome, Joon Pyo said in a voice that revealed how hurt he is, “Do you hate it that much?” And with that, he left…
At Seo Hyun’s birthday party…
Jandi was invited to the party and it was funny how her family tried to find the right formal dress for her from where else?–their laundry shop! Hahaha! She was getting depressed because clearly they could not find something special. of course, the very thoughtful Seo Hyun sent her a beautiful dress for the occasion. Wouldnt you just love Seo Hyun?
That night, as soon as Jandi arrived at the party, she was escorted by Yijung to the F4’s table. Seo Hyun, really looking beautiful that night, was escorted by Ji Hoo. She made an announcement that night that she is leaving for Paris for good. This explains why Ji Hoo has been so sad lately.

Later that night, Ji Hoo and Seo Hyun had a heart-to-heart talk regarding Seo Hyun’s leaving. Ji Hoo tells her, “I feel like I’m being abandoned.” Seo Hyun said, “If there’s anything here I can’t leave, it’s you.” Ji Hoo doesn’t seem to believe her but she admitted to him that she was a bit bothered earlier when she saw him running to Jandi, for it was very unusual for Ji Hoo to be concerned about other women, which showed her that he feels something for Jandi. Ji Hoo was hurt because he had spent 15 years looking only at Seo Hyun. Seo Hyun apologized and they shared a sweet kiss–probably a goodbye kiss.
They did not realize that the door was slightly open and Jandi witnessed the kiss. She closed the door before they can see her and tried to leave silently but, of course, Joon Pyo was there too. When Ji Hoo and Seo Hyun came out of the room, Jandi pretended that she just arrived. Seo Hyun invited Jandi to go with them for a drive but she declined. Joon Pyo told them that he and Jandi are going somewhere too. He even puts his arm around her shoulder to look more convincing. And wouldn’t you know it, Ji Hoo looks a bit concerned?
Hahaha!
When Joon Pyo and Jandi are alone, Joon Pyo informed Jandi that saving her from the embarassing position she was in earlier makes them even for saving him from drowning in the pool. They haggled and ended up agreeing that what Joon Pyo did was worth only 25% of payback.
Joon Pyo took Jandi in a posh bar. Joon Pyo rented the place so that they can have the place to themselves. Jandi can do whatever she wants. She got drunk and revealed a lot of things about her and her family that she normally wouldnt reveal to anyone especially to Joon Pyo.

He tried to make her feel better knowing that she is heartbroken because of the kiss that she witnessed earlier. She felt sorry for herself. He was so kind when he told her that had Ji Hoo met her before he met Seo Hyun, he would have liked her. He also told her that she is not worthless and that, in fact, she is the first girl that the great Joon Pyo has acknowledged. They somehow had gotten closer to each other that they can feel somebody’s heart pounding loudly? Whose? Probably both! So how did their night end?
Just when you think they’re going to KISS…Jandi puked all over Joon Pyo! Hahaha!
The morning after Jandi awakens in a strange bed. Then she noticed Joon Pyo sitting nearby watching her. She was mad with Joon Pyo until she remembered what happened down to the puking part. Then she was embarassed. Joon Pyo told her not to worry because he already called her parents and informed them that she’s with him. Then she was grateful.
This would have been a great day especially for Joon Pyo as he has Jandi at his mercy, but he was informed by his staff that his mother has returned home to host the charity auction that evening. He panicked because he doesn’t want his mother to know about Jandi. She is, after all, the first girl he brought to his house and the first girl to spend the night, and the worst part is that she is just a poor girl, a commoner, and therefore would not be worthy in his mother’s eyes.
He called his best friends, the F4, to help him out of his predicament and most especially to protect Jandi from his mother. The solution was to dress her up in one of the dresses to be auctioned off that night and to help her pretend that she comes from a rich family. They answered on her behalf as the mother sort of “interviews” her. They told Joon Pyo’s mother that Jandi comes from a family with a clothing business (HahaHa! So true.)

Ji Hoo puts his arms around her and says she is like their “F4 mascot.” The mother probably got even more curious as Joon Pyo seems to act defensively by saying that Jandi is his guest. It was a good thing that the “interrogation” was cut short as the guests have arrived and that the auction is about to start.
The auction
The first item to be auctioned off is a pair of Olympic gold medalist Park Tae-hwan’s goggles. Jandi, being a swimmer, is really interested in the goggles but she could not afford it. The pair of goggles was sold to an anonymous phone bidder with the amount of 10 million won.
The next item is a suit with Joon Pyo showing it off and then next is a dress which Jandi is wearing. As she models the dress, Joon Pyo’s mother seems suspicious of her. She asks her secretary if he knows the girl. He said he recognized her as someone who goes to the same school as the F4 but doesn’t reveal to Joon Pyo’s mother that he recognized her as the recipient of the Shinwa scholarship (Such a kind man!…errr…for now) She then ordered him to make inquiries about the girl’s background.
After the auction they said their goodbyes and Joon Pyo gave Jandi the goggles. Was there really any doubt as to the identity of the successful bidder? He also told her not to drink when he’s not around. Sweet!
That night in her room, Jandi put the goggles where Ji Hoo’s handkerchief used to be. Aah!

The next day, Seo Hyun and Jandi had a talk. Jandi is grateful for Seo Hyun’s friendship. It was sweet of Seo Hyun to tell Jandi that she knew from the first time she saw her that she is the girl that Ji Hoo always talked about with a smile. Knowing that with Seo Hyun leaving, Ji Hoo would be lonely again, she fell on her knees and begged Seo Hyun not to leave. She understood Seo Hyun’s reasons for leaving. She just doesn’t want Ji Hoo to be hurt again. Jandi apologizes for her behavior. Seo Hyun doesn’t mind for it seems that Jandi’s concern for Ji Hoo would mean that she wouldnt have to worry so much about Ji Hoo when she’s gone. She even asked Jandi to make Ji Hoo smile again. And i think she believes that if there’s anyone who could do it, it would be Jandi.
Jandi did not know that Ji Hoo witnessed her begging Seo Hyun not to leave and was mad at her for interfering.
