First it was just a rumor. There were quite some speculations circulating around that a Filipino version of Lovers in Paris is on the works. The rumors started when a poster with actors Piolo Pascual and KC Comcepcion was seen on a local network event.
The poster was photoshopped but it was officially released by the filipino TV network, ABS - CBN and with a title of Lovers in Paris. Since, remakes are quite in trend today, people naturally assumed that it must be related to the korean drama series, Lovers in Paris, which the same network released a couple of years back with filipino dubbing.

Now, I think it’s official although in the land of entertainment nothing is sure yet until you are filming the 3rd episode.
I love the idea since I find Piolo and KC quite talented and definitely both are good looking. I have no doubts at all that both can take the roles. I must admit I am hoping it is true.
Now, I am wondering if there would be any chance at all if they will do a Coffee Prince remake…or even Hana Kimi. Although I want a Korean version of Hana Kimi first and I already have some actors in mind…
And yes, I am taking a break here from my BBF addiction. Enough of Lee Min Ho…hahaha…for now…

I think this remake is better than the Stairway to Heaven one. Piolo and KC look good together.
Zooey Korean TV Dramas
Ms. Kc Concepcion does not fit the role of Vivian in Lovers in Paris. It is supposed to be a Cinderella story. She looks fat and heavy in television. Was she cast because she is the daughter of Sharon cuneta? She can’t even act properly or she is overacting. The best person on that role is Bea Alonzo or Ann Curtis or Christine Hermosa or even Maja Salvador. I’m not really a soap opera fan, but lately I had installed TFC and I really appreaciate the beauties of the young actresses in the Philippines. I had been away since 1973 and I’m not familiar anymore with our TV personalities. I suddenly watched this soap opera Lovers in Paris because my son who was born here in U.S. looks like Mr. Piolo Pascual. I’m an Educator here in California and my students are always talking about the Philippine celebrities and they have the same opinion about Ms. Concepcion. I’m sorry to offend her fans but that’s my opinion. I watched her as a guest in one of Sharon Cuneta shows and I think she doesn’t have manners when she lifted her legs and pushed them by the side of one the guests (I’m not sure of his name), but I think his name is Martin in the soap opera “Lovers in Paris”. He is a good looking Pilipino actor, tall dark and handsome.
