Episode 6 of Slave Hunters also known as Chuno is probably one of the most memorable. This top-notch Korean drama may have been getting some negative criticisms mostly directed at Lee Da Hae but it continues to provide great entertainment to its viewers. They still remain at the top spot and I hope the whole cast and crew should just take everything constructively.

Personally, I am sometimes kind of distracted as to why LDH’s character remained so pristinely clean and clear while the other characters looked as if they forgot to take a shower. But it is not only LDH, all the women who are not slaves looked as if they all have the time in the world to retouch, ok, I am lacking for a better word to use here. Anyway, even when LDH was still a slave she looked as if she uses BB cream every night before and after her work and to think that it’s super cold there. Do not get me wrong, it’s NOT the actors fault, its the production designer and the director’s responsibility BUT not all dramas are perfect, this is one flaw I can overlook.
I already did.
There are people who asked me about my predictions on how it will end. There are those who believe that the main hero of the drama is Tae Ha and he probably would be the one left standing at the end of the road. I argued that he might possess all the hero characteristics but it is still and will remain in my opinion is Dae Gil’s story. I will have a hard time accepting the final episode if that happens. That is the reason we always see his pic signalling the end of every episode. Sad to say, in my opinion, there is still something lacking in OJH’s performance. Even if his character should really encourage me to root for him, the intensity of JH’s performance just won’t allow me to do that. As my sister pointed out, maybe we are still reeling from Lee Byung Hun’s performance in IRIS that the others just pale in comparison. Even with LDH’s performance, I am quite sure she improved a lot but why am I not satisfied. Nothing personal here but I was hoping that I will get to see more from her. I know that she is capable. Sometimes, I can’t see the emotions in her eyes. Sometimes she’s good but I hate it when I feel that she seems to be doing some underacting. I do not know if its intentional or its what the director wants or if its her way in attacking the role.
Back to Episode 6…
Three hot men fighting in one scene – Dae Gil, Tae Ha and the other guy? Oh make that four,Gen Choi joined the fun a little later on the game. I am still in love with Jang Hyuk’s performance.
